The Niji Watercolor Set contains 18 tubes, 6cc of each, of bright, transparent watercolor pigments...good student-grade colors with consistency and blendability. Kids love to use the vibrant paints, blending and mixing their own color variations. Set also contains a 12cc tube of white pigment for creating delicate pastel colors.

Watercolor paint in tubes is easy to use. The transparent plastic tubes have screw-on caps to keep unused paint soft and squeezable. It squeezes out in a moist form that can be easily diluted with water to make washes for large areas of sky, backgrounds and special effects...or used with very little water to paint details with very strong color.

We recommend using these paints with a watercolor palette...a plastic tray with small depressions to squeeze paint into. With a handy palette, the unused paint can be left to dry, then wet again with water at a later time. Nothing is wasted. The AP certified pigments are non-toxic and child-safe.
