Van Gogh Acrylic Painting Set

This great kit brings young artists everything needed to paint a replica of Van Gogh's famous Wheatfield with Cypress. The kit includes:

pre-stretched canvas 11" by 14" with Van Gogh's painting already lightly sketched
12 tubes of acrylic paint
mixing paint palette
2 acrylic paint brushes
instruction book

You get 12 tubes (.12 ml each) of thick acrylic colors. The enclosed step-by-step instruction booklet tells you how to mix these pigments together to create the other colors, and how to use the paints with brushes to re-create Van Gogh's dimensional brushstrokes. The painting surface is canvas, stretched on a wooden fram and primed.

Traditional art instruction has always encouraged art students to create copies from the great masters. Much can be learned in the replication process. Of course, if creating an original image is preferred, the young artist can simply erase the pre-sketched image with a thin coat of white, and create their own composition. The economical price of this excellent kit makes it perfect for either approach.

Acrylic paints are thinned with water, and are washable when wet. These paints are certified AP non-toxic and child-safe. The paint dries to a permanent "plastic-like" finish, so bushes must be washed clean with water before they dry.
