The first english-translation book in The Adventures of Tintin, a series of classic comic-strip albums written and illustrated by Belgian writer and illustrator Hergé, featuring young reporter Tintin as the hero.
Tintin in America first appeared as a comic strip in 1931. This early adventure brings the boy reporter across the Atlantic to America where Tintin and Snowy make their way through slapstick comedy and danger from Chicago, the territory of Al Capone the gangster, to the world of cowboys and Indians in the Wild West.
