Woodless colored pencils are ideal for working in large areas and laying color quickly while sketching and drawing. These all-color pencils have a lacquered shaft, can be sharpened with normal pencil sharpeners. They contain far more colored lead than standard pencils. The pigments are smooth and rich. The slender lengths of solid colour have a wonderful, weighty hand feel.

Koh-i-noor colored pencils are great for color overlay drawings (overlay various colors to create new colors and tones) and for scratch out techniques (lay down heavy areas of colored pencil then scratch out a texture or design using a pointed tool. They are excellent for all fine art, mixd media, illustation and cartooning tasks.
