Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain This classic how-to-draw book for adults and older students has made learning how to draw more rewarding and successful than any previous method. It is based on the way the human brain processes information. Visual and spacial thought processes happen in sections of the brain on the right side of the body...essentially allowing us to see and therefore draw things.

With detailed lesson chapters, Brookes presents lessons for children at different ages, skills and interest levels. Children as young as 5 and 6 have worked well with the lessons in this book, although many kids at that age are quite happy doodling and drawing any way they please, and should be left to their own explorations. Enjoyment and experience is more appropriate for younger kids. But once children begin wanting to "draw things that look right," this gentle book is perect! |
