To get the best out of chalk, pastels and charcoal, these drawing materials should be used on a rough-surface paper which will catch and hold the powdery pigment. This special paper pad is made especially for chalks and pastels. The brilliant white paper lets the color of the chalks show up to maximum advantage, while an even texture to the surface allows fine variations of shading. Great for colored pencils and softer graphite pencils too, as you can see in our student-made example. The 9" by 12" pad has 64 sheets.
