What if I change my mind?
No problem...you can always remove things from your shopping cart before you check out. Delete items by checking the "Delete Item" checkbox then clicking "Update". In fact, you can quit shopping and leave before checking out and your shopping cart simply disappears.

Once I have selected the items I want, how do I check-out?
At the bottom of your shopping cart page, click the CHECKOUT button to advance to our secure Order Form. Here you'll fill out the information for your shipping, your address and credit card, and any other information you wish to give us regarding your order. The last step is to click the "SUBMIT YOUR ORDER" button, which transmits your order to us through secure email.

Is it safe to send my credit card over the Internet?
Yes...on the secure server, your message is encrypted...which means it's scrambled into code that only KidsArt can unscramble. No one could make any sense out of your email order, even if they were to get a look at it. It would be purely gibberish.

Does KidsArt add sales tax?
The KidsArt cart system adds 7.25% sales tax only to California orders. We do not need to collect sales tax for orders shipped to any other state.

What does it cost for shipping?
Most of our orders are sent by Priority Mail within 5-7 business days, and our shipping rates are set to cover the cost of stamps.

There are a few items in our on-line catalog that are significantly heavy, or have to be sent by UPS rather than the more ecomonical Post Office, such as clays and some of the paint sets. These heavy items are clearly identified on their product pages. When you order a heavy item, the words (exact shipping) appear next to the product name in the shopping cart. If you see (exact shipping) in the item list above, your shipping costs may be slightly higher than what is posted by the shopping cart system, but will never be more than the exact cost of stamps to send your order to you. If you see (exact shipping) on your order, and want to know this cost ahead of time, please ask for the exact charge in the comment box when you check out and we will email you the cost for your approval before we process your order.

Does KidsArt ship to other countries?
Yes, all the time and to every part of the world for customers using credit cards. For International shipping, your shipping charge will be simply what the Post Office charges us to send your order. We never know this amount ahead of time, so if you want to know this cost before we charge your credit card, please ask for the exact charge in the comment box when you check out and we will email you the cost for your approval before we process your order.

The best price for international postage is a Flat Rate Priority Envelope, 12.5 inches by 9.5 inches (31.8 cm by 24 cm). Several books (for example 3 or 4 books, or 9 art history coloring books, or all 20 KidsArt teaching booklets..) will fit into this sturdy airmail cardbook envelope, and can be sent to most nations for $11.00 US. If you order art supplies, paints, clay or kits, your order will require a cardboard box, and the postage cost will be much higher. Again, we are happy to email you the cost of postage BEFORE we process your order, so please feel free to email us with the items you wish to buy.

Does KidsArt send an email confirming my order?
Yes, the shopping cart system will email you a confirmation when you place your order. We do not send any further emails unless you have specifically requested, in the comment box, that we do so. Please note that many email systems have "spam" filters that may block our email to you. If you have spam filters on your email, you may need to check your spam folder, or add kidsart.com to your accepted email list. Sometimes even then our emails to you get blocked or deleted...so please phone us if you don't get any notification or if you have other questions.'

What if I want to mail my order to KidsArt instead of checking out on-line?
No problem...when you have finished shopping and adding items to your cart, just click print on your browser instead of clicking the "SUBMIT YOUR ORDER" button. You will then print out the complete order form using your own printer. You can mail it to us with a check or money order or credit card information. Or you can phone us with your list, or fax your printed order form to us with your credit card or Public School Purchase Order. Remember to add the appropriate shipping charge, and if you are in California, add 7.25% sales tax to your subtotal.
