Acrylic Painting Set
Acrylics give student artists the "feel" of oil painting with the water-washable ease and non-toxic safety of child-safe paints. This "Starter Set" contains the stuff students needed to explore fine acrylic painting with top-quality materials.
You get 12 tubes of thick acrylic colors and 12 wonderful acrylic paintbrushes including rounds, shader, wash, fan and liner. Set also includes a stylus tool, a palette knife, a palette, pencil and eraser, and an art apron...all packed in a handy wooden carrying case. The enclosed step-by-step instruction booklet tells you how to mix pigments together to create the other colors, and how to use the paints with water, acrylic medium, brushes and palette knife for different effects.

Acrylic paints are thinned with water, and are washable when wet. This quality conforms to ASTM D-4236 and can be used with older students....it is not appropriate for younger children. The paint dries to a permanent "plastic-like" finish, so bushes must be washed clean with water before they dry.
