The KidsArt Mail Art Gallery The theme for this KidsArt gallery is "Mail Art"...pictures and decorations on envelopes sent through the mail. All of these pictures were made by kids just like you! Mail Art is also called "correspondance art." You send mail art to a friend, or even to someone you don't know. The art is created on an envelope, and has to be sturdy enough to travel through the Post Office. Mail Art is seen by many people...the post office workers who sort and deliver the mail, as well as the person you are mailing to. Sometimes there are Mail Art events, shows and festivals. But even if you are just sending a special letter or card to a good friend, Mail Art is lots of fun.
