The fox sits next to a rail fence and looks out over a snowy field. Is that a grey rock on the hilltop? Light grey-blue strokes of paint on the white snow give shadows and texture like real snow. This young artist decided to outline some of his shapes with a black feltpen after the paint dried.
You can paint fantastic watercolors with simple materials, like the basic Crayola Watercolor Pan Set. Crayola makes especially rich and beautiful pigments, and include a nice paintbrush too.
