The last artwork in our scratchboard gallery was made by Mark Riedesel from Davenport, Iowa, when he was 9 years old. Mark made the scratchboard himself, using crayons and black paint on drawing paper. Then he scratched a picture of a goldfish in a fish bowl, with a tiny shipwreck statue and a seaweed plant. The fish has tiny bubbles floating up from its mouth. Mark scratched a line all around the edge to make a frame for his picture.
