A Friendly Lion

Paul Davis, age 8, made this picture of a lion. He used crayons to draw his lion walking through the forest, and to make the great spots and whiskers on th friendly beast. Then he painted over the drawing with bright watercolors. Paul used blue, yellow and pink colors for the lion...where the paints mix together they create purple and golden tones. This is one of the best lions we have ever seen!

You can paint fantastic watercolors with simple materials, like the basic Crayola Watercolor Pan Set. Crayola makes especially rich and beautiful pigments, and include a nice paintbrush too.
